IBC is the premier tradeshow for professionals engaged in the creation, management and delivery of broadcasting media and entertainment. The exhibition takes place 7-11th September 2012 at the RAI Amsterdam.
Cambo will show 3 new products, the CS-MFC-2 and CS-MFC-3 follow focus units, and the EPT Motorised Pan/Tilt system.
The CS-MFC-3 is a single rail follow focus unit with an easy access single locking mechanism making it easier to change lenses. Compatible with all 15mm rail systems and is supplied with the new Broad drive gear (m0.8 – 45 teeth) and flexible lens strap with end stops. Priced at €699.00, around £599.00 plus VAT.
New for IBC is the CS-MFC-2 follow focus unit. The design of this unit is based on the MFC-3. In addition it has 2 adjustable hard stops enabling you to pull focus accurately, between the desired points, positioned at 3 and 345 degrees. The hard stops can also be set to the closest focus and infinity points of a lens that has no built-in stops.
The new EPT Video Pant-Tilt unit will also be shown. Cambo have developed the EPT for the lightweight range of video booms, the Artes and V-15 models. Its motor-driven controls allow for over 360 degrees rotation of unobstructed pan and tilt movement. The head is connected with a standard UTP 10m cable to the Control Unit. The Joystick Control has high and low speed settings.
The EPT head weight is 3Kg with a load weight of 5Kg. Power is supplied via 12 Volt, AC/DC adaptor or optional Battery power.
Prices and product availability of the CS-MFC-2 and EPT will be announced at the show.
The new follow focus units will be shown with the CS Video rigs for Sony, Panasonic, Blackmagic Cinema, Nikon and Canon DSLR systems. There is also the EPT mounted to the Artes boom, V-5 boom, UniTrack and VPD-4.
