The Cambo ACTUS has arrived…
Just as we finished blogging yesterday there was a parcel delivery. The box felt far too light to contain a camera system, to our surprise it contained the ACTUS with all of its accessories.
The box is huge compared to the size of the camera…
Size Matters…
If you are planning to use your camera system outdoors then you need your kit to be as light as possible. The ACTUS is small and of course the smaller the platform the lighter the camera, weighing in at only 1000g. The following shot shows the front of the ACTUS where the lens mount fits…
Here you can see the ACTUS from the rear where the camera body will be mounted…
To show you the difference in size here is a comparison with the Ultima. Of course these are two different types of cameras as the Ultima is available in 3 modular versions; DSLR, 23 and 45, but its a good indicator of how small the ACTUS is… (by the way we are showing the Ultima 23)
